Luers football star chooses Notre Dame

Jaylon Smith is No. 4 overall prospect

ANGOLA - Bishop Luers linebacker Jaylon Smith orally committed to Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder, who will be entering his senior season with the Knights, announced the decision at the RAS Camp at Trine.

Smith is rated the top outside linebacker and No. 4 overall prospect by Rivals.com.
