Here are the highlights.

Big innings: The TinCaps scored all seven runs in Game 1 in the first inning. Casey McElroy had a two-run double. Jace Peterson added a two-run triple later in the inning. The seven runs matched a season-high for runs in an inning for the team.

Fort Wayne scored two runs in the first inning of Game 2.

Good eye: Fort Wayne collected nine walks in the first game and eight more walks in Game 2. Donavan Tate and Jace Peterson had four walks in the two games.

Quotable:

"We’ve had a few struggles here lately, we’ve been in some tight games. To win two today shows a lot, shows we can bounce back pretty quick."
