Warsaw police detectives have arrested a husband and wife accused of dealing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
On Wednesday, detectives served warrants on Ronald Eugene Rodriguez, 34, and Chanda Leea Rodriguez, 32, of South Buffalo Street, according to a written statement issued Thursday.
It said Ronald Rodriguez was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of dealing marijuana and probation violation. His bond was set at $25,000. Chanda Rodriguez was charged with felony aiding in dealing marijuana. Her bond was set at $20,000.
Police said the pot was sold out of their home, which is near Warsaw Christian School. At least one sale occurred while children were in the home, the statement said.
