Liquor store shooting leaves one dead

An apparent shooting inside a liquor store on Fort Wayne's south side has left a man dead, police said.

Officers were called to Cap n' Cork at 5727 S. Anthony Blvd. about 9:15 p.m. Friday.

Police officers found the victim in the store. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe an argument between two customers escalated to gunfire.

Police don't know what the dispute was about and had no information on a possible suspect.

There were multiple witnesses inside and outside the store when the shooting happened, police said.
