Polly is a 1 1/2-year-old spayed black and rust miniature Pinscher mix.

She is a small dog looking for a friend to hang out with. She is shy of new people and places so she would greatly appreciate encouragement from her new friend.

She loves to go on daily walks. She does well with children older than 5 as long as they treat her nicely. She gets along with other dogs and even cats.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
