Four residents of northeast Indiana are among 46 Hoosiers selected as delegates to this summer's Republican National Convention.

Most delegates were elected Saturday at the GOP's state convention in Indianapolis. Three state or national party officials from Indiana also will be delegates.

Chosen from the 3rd Congressional District were state Sen. Travis Holdman of Markle; Wells County GOP Chairman Ralph Garcia; and Paula Hughes, the 2011 Republican candidate for mayor of Fort Wayne and a former member of the Allen County Council.

Elected as an at-large delegate was Toby Buck, chief executive officer of Paragon Medical Inc. of Warsaw.

3rd District alternates are Phil Stoller of Wells County and Fort Wayne residents Christine Schrock and Glenna Jehl. At-large alternates include Kyle Babcock of Warsaw and state Sen. Tom Wyss, R-Fort Wayne.

The state convention nominated Steve Shine, chairman of the Allen County Republican Party, as the presidential elector from the 3rd District. Aboite Township Trustee Barb Krisher was chosen as his alternate.

The GOP's national convention will be Aug. 27-30 in Tampa, Fla.

Indiana Democrats will select 106 national delegates Saturday at their state convention at Grand Wayne Center. The party's national convention will be Sept. 4-6 in Charlotte, N.C.
