Last weekend's Republican State Convention had all the usual fare -- political t-shirts and buttons; red, white and blue bags, hats and ties; balloons and rousing speeches.
But one new thing caught Political Notebook's eye -- a Barack Obama punching bag.
The 4-foot-tall blow-up doll was painted with a caricature of the president, and the gentleman at the booth was selling attendees a chance to hit Obama for $1 a punch.
To be fair, we didn't see anyone take the guy up on the offer.
So what do you think? Is a presidential punching bag just the typical red meat at a political convention or crossing the line?
