Lansing rallies past Fort Wayne

Kevin Patterson hit a three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning as Lansing rallied to beat Fort Wayne 5-4 Thursday at Parkview Field.

The crowd of 8,531 fans was the third-largest at the ballpark.

Yeison Asencio had three hits and two RBI in the loss.

Fort Wayne was eliminated from playoff contention for the first half with the loss.
