Suspect arrested on meth charges


A Huntington man wanted on meth-related charges was picked up in Fort Wayne early Thursday, according to a written statement issued by the Huntington Police Department.

It said Ronnie D. Keene, 54, was charged in connection with the search of a residence in the1300 block of Grant Street in Huntington on May 25.

He has been charged with dealing methamphetamine with 1,000 feet of a public park and possession of two or more precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, the statement said.

A warrant was issued for Keene after the search after two other people were taken into custody.

Huntington city and county police arrested Keene at a Coliseum Boulevard inn about 1:50 a.m. Thursday.
