How can Sens. Richard Lugar and Dan Coats look their female family members in the face and say, “You don’t deserve the same pay as a man.

Rep. John Boehner said that accusations that the Republicans were bent on curtailing women’s freedoms was entirely created by Democrats. Does today’s, Tuesday, Senate vote reinforce Boehner’s quote? Or, does it tell you that he lied?

A woman, without equal pay, loses out on additional pension and Social Security benefits and has less money to feed her family.

Voters, you have a choice to make in November. Granted Persident Obama hasn’t done everything we wanted, like getting out of Afghanistan. He has tried to get the Republicans to back many of his plans to add jobs, but, they won’t pass them. Still, every month we see an increase in jobs, enough though it’s small. But, the Republicans lie and say he’s not trying to work on jobs. Remember at the beginning of his term he tried to work with the Republicans, but got no where. The leader of the Republicans said, “Our only job is to defeat the president.” Don’t let them do that.

Many of the things Obama tried to do were from Republican ideas, yet when he said he liked them, they turned on him. The health care mandate was a Republican idea. Obama put it in the health care bill and the Republicans said it was wrong.

Come on voters. The Republicans want to kill off the middle class and the poor. They want to kill off unions. Unions fight for equal and better pay. They fight for benefits, like health care and pensions. If a union gets these from a company, non-union companies are likely to give their employees the same. Look how much money the Koch brothers put into Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walkers recall election. Now, you see what happens when an election is brought.

The Republican Party needs to be shown the door. Let them know that they can’t treat women, the middle class, and the poor like third-class citizens.
