Eye specialist group plans $2 million complex

An eye specialist group plans to build a $2 million office complex on the Dupont Hospital campus.

Ophthalmology Consultants of Fort Wayne will quit leasing space on the medical center’s grounds to put up a 10,000-square-foot building, while hiring five health professionals, according to an abatement request filed with city officials.

The company is seeking a 10-year abatement that would save it $301,178.
