Tate heads to Lake Elsinore

Outfielder Donavan Tate, the No. 3 overall pick in 2009, was promoted to San Diego's Advanced-A team in Lake Elsinore, Calif.

Tate had a .207 with one home run and 21 RBI in 52 games with Fort Wayne this season.
