Caution: Trees are down, lights are out at intersections

FORT WAYNE – INDOT has nearly all of its crews out to remove trees that are across state, U.S. and interstate roadways in numerous counties.

Those who feel they must go out on the roadways should be aware that many roads throughout the region are littered with downed trees, utility wires and debris from the storm.

INDOT urges them to drive with "great caution."

At intersections where the traffic signals are not working, drivers should treat them as four-way stops.
