Fort Wayne made it three-for-three to start the second half.
The TinCaps won their third straight series with a 4-3 victory against Great Lakes Saturday at Dow Diamond in Midland, Mich.
Fort Wayne (6-3, 37-42 overall) scored three runs in the seventh inning on the way to taking two of three from the Loons (4-5, 38-41).
The TinCaps trailed the Loons 3-1 heading into the seventh.
Matthew Colantonio and Kyle Gaedele started the inning with consecutive singles. Travis Jankowski knocked them both in with a triple. Jankowski later scored on a single by Travis Whitmore. Whitmore, Mike Gallic and Colantonio each had two hits for the TinCaps.
Fort Wayne starting pitcher Colin Rea gave up two earned runs in six innings for the victory. He struck out five.
The game featured three ejections. Fort Wayne reliever Luis De La Cruz was thrown out after hitting Great Lakes' Angelo Songco in the seventh inning. Great Lakes reliever Jose Dominguez was tossed after hitting Colantonio in the eighth inning. Great Lakes manager John Shoemaker was also thrown out when Colantonio was hit.
The teams meet again July 28-30 at Parkview Field.
