Indian Village postpones July 4 events

FORT WAYNE – Due to the storm and destruction of Friday’s storm, the Annual Indian Village Community Association 4th of July parade and picnic will be held at later date.

The association issued a statement Monday afternoon, saying that the parade route and Psi Ote Park picnic area have downed trees and debris.

“Our first concern is the safety of our residents and their children,” Association President Deborah Dambra said in a written statement.

It said more information will be released after the next board meeting, on July 11.
