Senate candidates on parade

U.S. Senate rivals Joe Donnelly and Richard Mourdock will participate in three Independence Day parades between them on Wednesday, but their paths won’t come close to crossing.

The campaign for Rep. Donnelly, D-2nd, said he will walk in holiday parades in three southwestern Indiana cities: at 10 a.m. in Bloomington, noon in Bedford and 6 p.m. in Vincennes.

The campaign for Republican state Treasurer Mourdock said he will take part in July Fourth parades in three central Indiana communities: at 10:30 a.m. in Lawrence, 2 p.m. in Lebanon and 4:30 p.m. in Noblesville.
