    Seventeen members of the 2009 TinCaps have broken into the major leagues, a Class A record, according to information provided by the TinCaps from Sports Reference president Sean Forman.

For starters

Frank Garces is the starting pitcher for the TinCaps today against Bowling Green.

Garces, a Midwest League All-Star, is 4-4 with a 2.62 ERA. He is eighth in the league in ERA. This is his first outing against the Hot Rods this season.

The TinCaps also announced a roster move. Outfielder Kyung-Min Na was promoted to Double-A San Antonio. Infielder Zach Kometani was activated from disabled list at Double-A San Antonio and sent to Fort Wayne.
