Three northwest Ohio roadside rest areas have been reopened after damage from last week's storms, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
The parks on U.S. 30 west of Van Wert now have temporary toilet facilities available, but the buildings remain closed because of a continued power outage, the transportation department said in a statement.
The parks on U.S. 30 near Cairo in Allen County, Ohio, and on Interstate 75 south of Findlay have been reopened, but no drinking water is available at either location, the statement said.
It said the southbound park on U.S. 23 in Upper Sandusky is now open. The northbound park is to close Monday for about a month to allow for improvements.
