OK, OK. So everyone's had it up to here with lawyers and all that fabled American litigiousness.

But sometimes suing people is the right thing to do, and this is one of those times. Because the NFL's own system of jurisprudence is absolutely ludicrous.

In what sane world, after all, is NFL commissioner Roger Goodell not "incurably and evidently biased" when he's deciding appeals of his own decisions? How is he even allowed to do that, legally?

It's a frankly absurd and, yes, biased state of affairs, and it needs to stop. And unfortunately, the only way to stop it (or to at least make the attempt) is to go through the courts.

The NFL doesn't like getting sued?

Fix your system, then.
