Navajo-overplied?

Tour de Fleece, Day 7

July 6: Day 7

This morning, I spun the BFL for about 30 minutes. It was still lovely, so the photo of my progress would be almost identical to yesterday's photo.

Instead, I want to show you some of the mystery stash wool that I Navajo-plied. I think I might have overplied it. Even after washing, the skein is twisting. I spun it to the right, and plied it to the left. I think, when the skein twists to the right like this, it means that there was too much twist in the plying.

So, I can either run it back through the wheel to the right, to untwist it a bit, or I can ply it back to itself, to the right, making a really hearty cabled yarn.

What would you do?
