Work to close lanes U.S. 30

FORT WAYNE – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday that restrictions begin Monday afternoon in the right-hand lanes on U.S. 30 between Fort Wayne and Columbia City.

Pipe-lining work is scheduled over three ditches during the next two weeks, weather permitting:

  • Beginning at 3 p.m. today and until Wednesday morning, the right lanes in both directions are scheduled to close between Solon Road and Felger Road in Allen County as work is performed over the Solon Road Branch.
  • From Wednesday morning until Friday, right lanes in both directions are scheduled to close between Whitley County 500 East and Whitley County 600 East as work is performed over the Mowery Ditch.
  • Between July 16, and July 18, the right lanes in both directions are scheduled to close between West County Line Road and Butt Road in Allen County as work is performed over the Rapp/Solon Ditch.
