No decision yet on Boucher

Goaltender Nick Boucher and Komets general manager David Franke met Tuesday to discuss Boucher's future with the team. However, no decisions were made, Boucher said.

After winning four championships in five years with the Komets, Boucher is trying to formulate a plan to deal with his injured hips, and the Komets are trying to determine when, or if, he'll be available to play.

Boucher could play through the pain, have surgery that would keep him out until December at least, or retire.

He hopes to discuss his options further with doctors this week.

Boucher, 31, was the Komets' MVP last season in the CHL. The team is entering the ECHL this season and will get at least one other top-tier goalie, depending on Boucher's prognosis, general manager David Franke said.
