Boucher taking more time

Komets goaltender Nick Boucher is going to take the week to decide whether he will get surgery on his injured hips, try to play through the pain at the beginning of the season or retire.

He plans to speak with a specialist from Colorado regarding the injury.

So, I don't expect anything more on this until next week.

If I were him? I would get the surgery and then see how I am when the rehabbing is done. He's going to have to get this done sometime. And knowing Nick, I bet he'll be amped up for a stretch run. And it could only help the Komets to groom two other goalies and then add a goalie with four Cups around January, if possible.
