So the long-awaited report is out on Penn State's internal investigation into the late unpleasantness involving Jerry Sandusky, and the lead investigator, Louis Freeh, pulls no punches.
The school, the report says, disregarded the "safety and welfare" of Sandusky's victims.
I am shocked, shocked.
I mean, really. This was pretty self-evident before this investigation, and all the report does is confirm once again that former university president Graham Spanier and former athletic director Tim Curley are lucky they're not sharing a condo with Sandusky in the Graybar Hotel. Because frankly their behavior smacks of aiding and abetting a pedophile.
One more thing the report does: Give ample fodder to the plaintiffs in the civil suits that are sure to come.
Let the lawyering up begin.
