The Huntington Police Department got a tip about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday that someone was making meth in a home on the northeast side of Huntington.
When officers arrived at the house in the 800 block of Wilkerson Street, they found a meth lab and several people, according to a statement issued by police Chief E.J. Carroll.
One of the people ran away but was caught, the statement said. Richard N. Martinez, no age given, was charged with dealing methamphetamine, having an illegal drug lab and resisting law enforcement.
Martinez was being held at the Huntington County Jail on $100,000 bond, the statement said.
The Huntington County Sheriff's Department and the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team assisted at the scene.
