Last suspect in Outlaws raids surrenders in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — Authorities say a suspect who evaded a raid on Outlaws motorcycle gang clubhouses in Indiana has turned himself in.

U.S. attorney's office spokesman Tim Horty told The Indianapolis Star that 28-year-old Terrell Adams surrendered to authorities early Friday morning. Horty said family and friends persuaded Adams to surrender.

Adams was being sought on drug charges. Prosecutors say he isn't an Outlaws member.

Adams was the final suspect sought following a series of raids Wednesday at several sites used by the Outlaws, including on West Main Street in Fort Wayne. Forty-one gang members and associates were arrested on federal charges ranging from mail fraud to money laundering. They are expected to have detention hearings next week.

Federal court documents didn't list an attorney for Terrell.
