Slipcovers can set your summer tone

Summer décor is all about finding the perfect balance between enjoying your abode, relaxing and combining a livable interior with one that encourages casual summer-style entertainment.

To create a light and airy atmosphere, the best place to start is with colors. Does that mean repainting? It can, but not always.

The easiest way to do that, especially if you are decorating just for the summer, is with slipcovers. This way can choose a summer color and then remove the slipcovers when the seasons change.

Be sure to choose slipcovers that are washable so you can keep your carefree, no-worries feeling, which is what summertime is all about.

Flowers are great for making a home summery, and fresh flowers are welcome accessories anytime and in any room. Fresh flowers help bring nature in, and add color and beauty to any room.

In some cases, a burst of color can be achieved simply with throw pillows.

It doesn’t take a complete makeover to change your house or apartment, just enough to enjoy the summer. Simple things can give us simple pleasures, so freshen up and enjoy the season.
