    The Midwest League Eastern Division wild card race took another twist Saturday as rain postponed the TinCaps' game at Bowling Green Ballpark against the Bowling Green Hot Rods.

TinCaps lead after 3

The TinCaps scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 4-2 lead through three innings over the Wisconsin Tiber Rattlers on Monday at Parkview Field.

Tyler Stubblefield's home run into the right field corner staked the TinCaps to a 1-0 lead, only to have Wisconsin go up 2-1 with single runs in the second and third innings.

But the TinCaps had a four-hit bottom of the third to score three runs.

Felix Cabrera led off with a single to left and moved to third on Travis Jankowski's hustle double into right field. Mike Gallic's chop grounder to shortstop brought in Cabrera, then Yeison Asencio doubled in Jankowski, and Duanel Jones' single to right drove in Asencio.

The game was preceded by Norwell product and Colts quarterback Chandler Harnish throwing out the first pitch. He nearly overthrew his receiver.
