Notre Dame will play host for an NBA game for the first time in seven years.
The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls will play a preseason game in Purcell Pavilion at 7 p.m. Oct. 26, the Bulls announced Tuesday.
The last NBA game to be played at Notre Dame was in October 1995, when the Bulls played the Seattle Supersonics.
Tickets for this year's preseason game go on sale at the Notre Dame ticket office at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 11 and can also be purchased at http://www.und.com/tickets/nd-tickets.html or by calling 574-631-7356.
"We're excited to once again have the opportunity to host an NBA preseason game at Purcell Pavilion," Irish coach Mike Brey said in a statement. "John (Paxson) and I have been talking the last couple of years about how we could make this happen. The game against Chicago and Indiana is a natural fit with both of those teams in close proximity to Notre Dame."
