Police seek convicted molester

Ramey

The Noble County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Nicholas L. Ramey, a convicted sex offender who is accused of failing to register as a sex offender.

The sheriff's department issued a statement Wednesday that said Ramey, 30, has two active warrants for failure to appear on the charges.

He is described as 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. The sheriff's department said he was last known to be staying in the Kendallville area.

According to Journal Gazette archives, Ramey admitted to fondling a 13-year-old girl when he was 18 at his Kendallville home.
