Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices gain

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 31.75 cents to $9.35 a bushel; December corn fell 3.75 cents to $7.8050 a bushel; December oats rose 3.50 cents to $3.87 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 38 cents to $16.58 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.88 cent to $1.1895 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.90 cent to $1.3910 a pound; while August lean hogs added 0.43 cent to 93.05 cents a pound.
