The TinCaps will host their third Stitch ’n Pitch event next month, but this time they’re encouraging needle artists to contribute to a breast cancer awareness scarf that is more than a mile long and growing – and will be displayed in Fort WayneFORT WAYNE – Due to problems encountered after exposing a damaged duct line, work at Washington Boulevard and Calhoun Street has been extended by a day.
The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Wednesday morning that the two center lanes of westbound Washington Boulevard will remain closed, along with a southbound lane on Calhoun Street, through Thursday.
Indiana Michigan Power Co. is repairing a collapsed duct bank in the middle of the intersection, the department said.
