TinCaps lead after 3 innings

It's "Christmas in July" promotion at Parkview Field on Friday in the TinCaps' game against South Bend.

It was a night late, after the TinCaps had given up five errors in their 10-6 loss Thursday.

Yeison Asencio drove in the first run with a sigle to right after Travis Jankowski singled, stole second and moved to third on a double play. Then the TinCaps scored twice in the second inning, getting a double from Duanel Jones and singles from Tyler Stubblefield and Matt Colantonio.
