A traffic stop east of Andrews led police to discover the makings of methamphetamine in a car Wednesday, according to the Huntington County Sheriff's Department.

During the stop along U.S. 24, officers spotted the items associated with manufacturing meth and called for the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit, the sheriff's department said.

The stop prompted officers to arrest Geoffrey Fugate, 21; Alicia Spencer, 25; and James Scheiber, 23. They were booked into the Huntington County Jail.
