For starters

The Loons and TinCaps have split their 10 games so far this season. Fort Wayne has won four of the five meetings.

The season series has been a little testy. Luis De La Cruz was ejected after hitting Angelo Songco with a pitch on June 30 in Midland, Mich. Great Lakes pitcher Jose Dominguez and manager John Shoemaker were ejected the next half inning (the top of the eighth) when Dominguez hit Matt Colantonio with a pitch.

De La Cruz served a three-game suspension July 14-17 as a result of the incident.
