My sole experience with badminton was in college, when I had to drop the class because I broke the little finger on my racquet hand. So maybe I'm the wrong person to raise this question.
But, still. You know this badminton scandal at the Olympics, where four teams got sent home for deliberately throwing matches to get a better seeding?
Here's my question: What kind of cockamamie system rewards teams with favorable seedings for losing? Shouldn't you have to win to get a better seeding?
Just asking.
