Firefighter injured in Home Ave. blaze

A firefighter suffered minor injuries and a house sustained heavy damage in a Home Avenue blaze Tuesday morning.

Fort Wayne firefighters were called to a two-story house at 819 Home Ave. at 4:21 a.m., according to the fire department. No one was at the home at the time, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The fire took 58 minutes to bring under control; one firefighter was taken to a hospital.
