Kevin Johns, IU's assistant offensive coordinator/quarterbacks/wide receiver coach, likes what he's seen in the early stages.

"Our offense is doing well," he said at IU media day on Thursday. "A lot of it is going to be based on the development of our players from a year ago. If you look at them now against what they looked like a year ago, we're a much different team. Not only from our mental state, but our physical state. We're a lot stronger, bigger, we're a year older."
