With more than 15 inches of precipitation so far this year, there’s no doubt this spring will bring out swarms of mosquitoes, experts say.New Haven’s Meadowbrook Pool and Jury Pool will soon close for the season, but the city will reopen Jury Pool for public swimming during four additional days in August. Both pools will officially close Aug. 12, and Jury Pool will reopen on the weekends of Aug. 18 and 19 and again on Aug. 25 and 26, from noon until 7 p.m. For more information, call the New Haven-Adams Twp.
