An Angola man was arrested Thursday, accused of breaking into a Crooked Lake home.
Nicholas J. Yager, 22, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. and charged with felony residential burglary and felony theft, according to a statement from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department.
The burglary took place early Tuesday, and the homeowner told detectives that several items of jewelry were taken.
Several of the items were recovered using a search warrant, the statement said, and Yager was taken to the county jail. He was being held on $55,000 bond.
