Receiver commits to Notre Dame

Notre Dame added a former Penn State committed player to its recruiting class Sunday.

Will Fuller, a 6-foot, 165-pound receiver from Philadelphia’s Roman Catholic High School, changed his oral commitment from the Nittany Lions to the Irish.

Fuller made the announcement on his Facebook page, posting: “Committed to the University of Notre Dame. Talking about opportunities!!!! :)”

Fuller was at Notre Dame on Saturday to watch the Irish’s first practice of the fall.

Fuller, who could also play cornerback for the Irish, is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com. He had 46 receptions for 758 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.

Fuller is the 19th player to commit to Notre Dame’s class of 2013, which includes Bishop Luers linebacker Jaylon Smith.
