Gull not among 3 finalists for state high court

Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull was not among the three finalists selected for the upcoming vacancy on the Indiana Supreme Court.

The Judicial Nominating Commission selected the Hon. Steven R. Nation of Hamilton County, the

Hon. Loretta H. Rush of Tippecanoe County and Geoffrey G. Slaughter of Indianapolis as finalists.

Gov. Mitch Daniels will choose from the three candidates to select Indiana's 108th justice.

Justice Frank E. Sullivan Jr. announced he would step down from the bench this summer.
