From a report received Friday morning from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department:
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrest a Milford man on drug charges Thursday evening after an undercover investigation.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers conducted an undercover purchase of prescription pills Thursday in Milford. D.T.F. officers immediately arrested Michael B. Cole, 51, Milford, shortly after the alleged transaction occurred.
Officers also located substance that was later confirmed to be marijuana in Cole’s possession.
Cole was preliminarily charged with felony dealing of a controlled substance as well as possession of marijuana.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were assisted by officers from the Syracuse Police Department, Milford Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
Cole is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail this morning without bond.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force consist of officers from the Syracuse Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department that work as a dual-agency unit to combat the usage and sell of illegal and illicit drugs.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
