BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — "American Idol" is zigzagging through the country for auditions in small towns and will hear musicians try out for the popular show during a session in Bowling Green before the tour of 10 towns is finished.
Marissa Butler of the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau told WBKO-TV the tour will arrive in Bowling Green within the next couple of weeks although the day and location haven't been announced.
The station says 800 to 1,200 people are expected to audition when the bus rolls into the south-central Kentucky city.
