Three men and a juvenile were arrested early Friday for allegedly stealing items from a vehicle, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department.
About 4:15 a.m., sheriffs deputies were called to the 8100 block of East Backwater Road in North Webster on a report of a vehicle break-in.
As deputies were on the way, the victim reported seeing four people walking along Indiana 13, north of North Webster.
A Syracuse police officer later found the four on the south side of Syracuse.
One of them had a bag that contained items that had been reported stolen from the vehicle. The four, who denied stealing the items, were taken into custody.
Brandan P. Lajoice, 18, of North Webster; Brice Islas, 18, of North Webster; and Jacob B. Honea, 18, of Leesburg were each booked into the county jail on a felony theft charge. They all had bail amounts of $2,000.
The fourth suspect was a juvenile, and he was released to his parents.
