Ravellenic Games: Finish Line!

I wrapped up my Ravellenic Games project on Saturday, but I didn't blog about it, because I pretty much collapsed.

Deadline Knitting is not my favorite kind of knitting, to say the least, but this project was still fun.

I knit a little while in a car on Saturday, and kind of annoyed my right shoulder by doing it. Ironically, that's the shoulder I messed up a little bit when I was a swimmer in high school. It doesn't usually hurt, but it does make a magnificent clicking sound if I move it in just the right (wrong?) way.

I think, if I had worn a sleeveless top, knitting in the car wouldn't have bothered me. As it was, clamping down a bit with my arm to hold my needle in place while fighting the seat belt seems to be the cause of my slight shoulder pain later that day. So, lesson learned. Sleeveless for knitting in the car.

On Sunday, I tried using lever knitting to knit on double-pointed needles. But, either I am too clumsy or my needles are too short. So, I'll have to keep practicing and trying different needles.

Overall, this was an awesome experience and I'm glad I did it.

How did your Ravellenic knitting go?
