Police pull body from Toledo river

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Police say they have pulled a body from the Maumee River in Toledo.

WTOV-TV reports that the body was spotted at about 8 p.m. Wednesday near the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge.

The dead person is a man who believed to be in his 50s. There were no visible signs of trauma, but police have not ruled out foul play.

Toledo Police Sgt. Bill Wauford said the body hadn't been in the water that long.
