First phase of St. Joe Center Road bridge work complete

After a two-month delay, the project to renovate the St. Joe Center Road bridge over the St. Joseph River is now through the first stage of construction, opening the westbound lane to traffic. R.L. McCoy Inc. of Columbia City is continuing repairs in the eastbound lane. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late fall.
