Car rolls in U.S. 6 crash; driver airlifted

A Defiance County, Ohio, man was flown to a Toledo hospital Friday morning after his car crashed and rolled on U.S. 6.

The crash happened at 6:35 a.m., according to a statement issued by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

It said Rennell K. Lloyd, 54, of Gares Road, was going east near Ohio 66 in Williams County when his 2002 Pontiac Bonneville went into a ditch and overturned, hit a right-of-way fence and overturned again, coming to rest on its top.

Lloyd was flown from the scene to the northwest Ohio hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
