TinCaps shut down Dragons

Matt Wisler and three relievers limited Dayton to six hits as Fort Wayne defeated the Dragons 5-0 in front of 8,025 fans Saturday at Parkview Field.

Wisler, from Bryan, Ohio, gave up four hits in five scoreless innings to improve to 5-4.

The TinCaps scored all five runs in the first inning.

Yeison Asencio had a two-run double in the inning. Jace Peterson had two singles in the first inning and finished 3 for 5.
